Unjumbl ("we," "us") is a decluttering app that turns a photo of a room into a
step-by-step tidying plan. This page explains what information the app collects,
why, and how it's used.

How we use this information
Generating your plan: the room photo you capture is sent to
Anthropic's Claude AI to identify zones and items and produce a plan. Photos
are used only to generate your plan and are not used to train AI models.
Syncing across devices: your plans, zones, and photos are
stored in our cloud database (Supabase) so they're not lost if you switch or
reinstall the app, and so a linked account can pick up where you left off on
another device.
Daily reminders: if you allow notifications, a reminder is
scheduled locally on your device. This never leaves your device or gets sent
through us or any third party.
Enforcing the free-plan limit and subscriptions: we track how
many plans an account has generated and, for subscribers, whether a subscription
is active, to determine what the app unlocks.
Improving Unjumbl: corrections you make to AI-generated
content help us understand where the AI gets things wrong.
Understanding usage: we use coarse, metadata-only analytics
(event names, screen or page visits — never your photos or their contents) to
understand how the app and this website are used.
Beta waitlist: if you submit your email on our
website to be notified when testing opens on a platform, we store it
solely to send you that one notification. We don't sell or share it, and it
isn't linked to any in-app account unless you separately choose to
link that same email address in the app.
Who we share it with
We do not sell or rent your personal information — including your photos — to
third parties. We share data only with the service providers ("processors") that
make the app work:
Supabase — hosts our database, file storage, and
authentication.
PostHog — product analytics for the app and this website
(coarse usage events only, never photos).
Anthropic — processes room photos to generate your
decluttering plan.
Apple App Store / Google Play Billing (and RevenueCat, our
subscription management provider) — process subscription purchases. We receive
only your subscription status, never your payment details.
Payments
Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play, and managed
with RevenueCat. We never see or store your card number, billing address, or other
payment details — those are handled entirely by Apple or Google under their own
privacy policies. You can view, change, or cancel your subscription at any time
through your Apple ID or Google Play account settings.
Your choices
You can use Unjumbl without ever creating an account — an anonymous device
identifier is used by default.
Camera and photo library access are required to use the app's core feature,
but can be revoked at any time in your device's system settings (the app will
prompt you to re-enable them if needed).
Notification permission is optional; declining it just means you won't get a
daily reminder.
You can sign out of a linked account at any time from Settings, which clears
that account's data from this device (it remains safely stored in the cloud for
when you sign back in).
To request deletion of your account and all associated data, contact us at
the email below.
Data retention
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete the app
without linking an account, your data exists only on your device and is removed
when the app is uninstalled. Cloud-synced data is retained until you request
deletion.
Children's privacy
Unjumbl is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect
information from them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the app changes. We'll update the "Last updated"
date above when we do.
